What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational Therapy focuses on assisting each child and their families to develop skills and increase independence in a wide range of daily activities through individualized treatment plans. These activities could include self care routines, fine motor, visual motor, social-emotional regulation and engagement in leisure activities, to name a few. Occupation Therapy can help identify a child's strengths and promote areas of growth through activities that are meaningful and engaging for each individual child.
